The company was established in 1990 and was formerly known as Cleanit Chemicals (Pty) Ltd. The focus of the Cleanit (Pty) Ltd has always been chemical manufacturing anddistribution, and with over 25 years’ experience in this industry, the company has managed to continuously meet localised and national standards as well maintain excellent customer relations through its prominent levels of customer service.

The primary function of Cleanit (Pty) Ltd is utilizing raw materials in accordance with candid scientific formulations to manufacture and sell industrial as well as local detergents and disinfectants to public and business sectors, along with certain government organisations.

Cleanit (Pty) Ltd has implemented product formulations that prevents extensive damage tothe environment as well as products that causes little to no harm to the planets’ aquatic life.The company’s product list comprises of more than 100 uniquely formulated items which are highly concentrated and should be diluted according to the preference of each client.

All products are easily distinguishable as they each have its own dilution rate, colour and fragrance.

The products are manufactured at the plant in Cape Town, the same location as thecompany’s head office and is done so conforming to all strict specifications set out by

government regulations.

Because each product manufactured by the company meets the compelling requirements set out by various authorities and where applicable, meet the desired specifications of theSouth African Bureau of Standards (SABS) as well as National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS), Cleanit (Pty) Ltd has managed to secure two three year tenders with the City of Cape Town as well as one three year tender with Beaufort West Municipality. The company customer list comprises of clients in various areas within the Western Cape and extends as far as the Lesotho border as well as the Northern Cape in its entirety.

The company’s products guarantee a safer, healthier and more hygienic internal as well as external environment and we provide material safety data sheets to ensure that the customer has the required knowledge to use our products in the correct manner.

Cleanit (Pty) Ltd currently holds one branch and it is one of the company’s short term goalsto change this with developing a second and eventual third office within different parts of the country.

Cleanit (Pty) Ltd is also looking at expanding our product list by not only providing detergents and disinfectants but to also offer our clients a range of various equipment that is commonly used within the cleaning industry.
